RAQUEL
Raquel has worked in the health and fitness industry, for 40 years.
She has taught everything from Aerobics Classes, (with vinyl records, and leg warmers, 😱) to Step Aerobics, Cycle, HIIT and Yoga Classes. Over her career, she has brought her energetic, and motivational teaching style, to several large chains and many boutique studios, as well as in her work with private clients. After deciding to get explant surgery three years ago, she sought out Brad, to help with her fitness regimen, while recovering. What followed, was not only a compete overhaul of her own workout programming, but her entire mindset, around fitness and wellness. With Brad’s help, a complete shift in focus took place, from merely external looks, to complete wellness, with an emphasis on longevity. She began noticing that the world of health and wellness tends to focus on, “Do more! Go Harder!” and typically caters to younger persons. She realized that those individuals, like herself, middle aged and beyond, were really the forgotten group, and their unique and changing exercise and lifestyle needs, were largely ignored by the fitness world. Raquel has made it her mission, along with Brad, to highlight the many ways in which the second half of our lives, can be richer, and more rewarding, and that wellness, health and fitness can co-exist with growing older.
